Friday, May 22
10:00 am – 11:00 am – Hampton Park Library – Busy Builders. Let’s build something together! Did you know that playing with LEGO and other building blocks can help develop your child’s cognitive learning and social skills? Every Friday morning we will set out a collection of kid-friendly building blocks for an engaging and educational drop-in playtime. You bring your creativity, we’ll provide the rest! All ages are welcome to attend this family program. Registration is not required, drop-in anytime!
11:00 am – The City of Cumming Annual Memorial Day Service at the Veterans War Memorial, 301 Veterans Memorial Blvd, Cumming, GA.
Saturday, May 23
10:00 am – 7:00 pm – The Old Atlanta Spray Park opens! Hours of operation for the spray pad are Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 6 p.m. On Mondays, the spray pad is closed for maintenance and private rentals.
10:00 am – 12:00 pm – Michaels KIDS CLUB. Make Red White & Blue Craft Stick Flags. Ages 3 and up are welcome to this event. See a store associate for details today. $2.00. Let your kids explore their creativity while you shop! Only $2 per child reserves 30 minutes for your creative kid. Sessions starting every half hour from 10:00am – 11:30am. See a store associate to join the fun!
11:00 am – Barnes & Noble story time at The Collection Forsyth. Join us for Storytime and activities featuring Dragons Love Tacos. This scrumptious New York Times bestseller has a whole lot of kick! Dragons love all kinds of tacos and salsa, but watch out for the spicy salsa.
1:00 pm – 6:00 pm – Cumming Aquatic Center Outdoor Waterpark Open!!!!
Get ready to start your summer with a splash! The Cumming Aquatic Center Outdoor Leisure Pool opens DAILY on May 23rd with normal session hours (visit our website for more info on session times). Daily admission is only $5 for adults and $4 for kids and seniors! We also offer seasonal family and individual memberships. You can rent a shady cabana for your family, group, or birthday party to sit under next to the pool for only $50 dollars in addition to admission. All cabana rentals allow you to bring in your own food and drink!
